About Us

We love an adventure and believe that the best moments happen outdoors, with good food and even better company.

For years we searched for the perfect backpack: one that could carry everything we needed for a proper picnic - fresh bread, cheese, wine, plates, cutlery, a blanket - and still feel comfortable on a long mountain trail. We wanted to reach the top of the hike and actually sit down to enjoy the view, not just snap a photo and rush back down. But that backpack didn’t exist… so we decided to create it ourselves.

That’s how olli. was born.

The name “olli.” comes from my mom. Her life motto was simple and bold: “One life. Live it!” - a.k.a. olli. She had an incredible gift for finding magic in the smallest things - a smooth pebble on the beach, a tiny wildflower pushing through the cracks, the sight of a beautiful little bird. She taught us that joy is found in the moments we pause to notice.

We hope every olli. picnic backpack inspires you to do the same: to slow down, head outside, share delicious food with people you love, and truly live the one beautiful life you’ve been given.

We’re proudly South African, designed and based in the breathtaking winelands of Franschhoek - surrounded by mountains that are practically begging for a picnic at the top.
